November’s
presentation will cover what ethics are, why ethics matter to
businesses, the challenges of ethical business practices, and
eleven steps to building and effective ethics program. Don’t miss
this meaningful and practical meeting.
Terry
Harrison is the curriculum development coordinator for the Josephson
Institute of Ethics. He works directly with Michael Josephson
to develop new training modules for CHARACTER COUNTS! seminars,
“Ethics in the Workplace”seminars and “Pursuing Victory With Honor”
sports trainings.
He
also edits and assists Mr. Josephson with writing books and articles.
He is a member of the CHARACTER COUNTS! National Faculty and is
a guest speaker and lecturer for the Josephson Institute. Prior
to joining the Institute, he spent 19 years as a minister with
the Southside Church of Christ in Killeen, Texas. From 1998 to
2001, he traveled into Russia as a CHARACTER COUNTS! trainer in
Barnaul (Siberia), Kazan (Tatarstan), Perm and Moscow, training
over 1,000 teachers, school psychologists and directors. He organized
seminars, wrote training materials and supervised the translation
of those materials into Russian.
Prior
to entering the ministry, he served in Japan with the U.S. Air
Force as a radio communications (intelligence) analyst. He has
attended or graduated from the University of Maryland, Sunset
International Bible Institute, Central Texas College and Tarleton
State University.
