Between voting from ballots downloaded off our website and from those voting at our April dinner meeting the membership has elected four new board members to our Board of Directors. These directors terms will run from July 2004 through June 2007, which helps the association sustain a measure of continuity in its leadership.

Two of those elected are not new to the task - George Nagy, C.P.M., Senior Buyer at SMT Dynamics Corp., our immediate past president and El Roy Codding, Jr., Buyer II at Racal Instruments, a director that has just completed his first three year term, each got the nod from those casting ballots.

In addition two brand new directors were elected: W. Scott Steele, Subcontract Procurement Specialist at Parker Hannifin, who has served on both the Educational Resources and Forum committees and Yvonne Sumner, the International Director of Supply Chain Management at PADI Worldwide, who is brand new to association involvement.

Special thanks go to both Todd Kensington, Inventory Control Manager at Phillips Industries and Travis Williams, Vice President of Operations at Procurement Services Associates for being willing candidates, we hope to use your expertise too this coming year.
