us January 17th for some good counsel on how to survive during
these days of financial uncertainty by better understanding the
swings in markets and commodities/bonds, etc. You’ll learn how
best to hedge with your own investments and realize their best
potential by knowing the risks related to each possible venture.

Susan Powell has over seventeen years experience in the field.
A Finance and Management major at CSUF, she is not only a Certified
Financial Planner, but also has an Insurance license too. She
held various managerial posts with the Bank of America before
joining Lincoln Financial Group where she now operates on a fee
basis, which should give you an idea of how well she does as a
financial professional.
Susan
has kept abreast of economic trends, tax law changes and the variety
of products and services available and has proven effective in
delivering appropriate advice backed by quality products and excellent
service. She is experienced with creative and innovative estate
planning, conservative investment planning, risk management and
business succession planning.
Joining
her for the evening will be Donald E. Garcia, a Senior Financial
Planner, the president of Pinnacle Financial Group. He was an
Investment Advisor at John Hancock Financial Services, where he
was consistently successful in ranking among the top 1% of all
associates in the nation. Donald continues to take classes to
keep his knowledge at the leading edge and to maintain the high
standards demanded by the industry, his clients and himself.
Donald
has been invited to the White House three times this past year
and was asked to write a bill concerning retirement plans which
is currently before Congress and the Senate for approval. For
the past seven years he has been involved in Santa Ana’s project
P.R.I.D.E., acting as a mentor to individual gang members. For
his contribution and commitment in this project Donald was honored
as the Outstanding Citizen and Mentor of the Year for each of
the years 1995 through 1998. He is on the board of directors for
the Orange County Chapter of the YMCA and the New Beginnings Foundation;
an organization dedicated to empowering hope dignity and independence
to children with missing limbs.
