Changes Made to Associate Member Program

The ISM Board of Directors has approved a recommendation from the Affiliate Support Council to change ISM Policies with regard to associate members. Associate members are nonvoting affiliate-only members. Previously, affiliates could accept prospective associate members provided they met the eligibility standards for ISM membership and at least one member of the same organization held a Regular membership in the affiliate. From now on, prospective associate members are only required to meet the eligibility standards for membership as listed in the ISM Bylaws (Article III, Section 4).

The requirement stating that there must be at least one Regular affiliate member from the same organization has been lifted.
