The right words can persuade or even win over a colleague, manager,
customer, and even earn billions of dollars. For instance, advertising
is a $385 billion industry that persuades us to buy products by using
images…and words. Think of McDonald’s. Can you name its current slogan
off the top of your head? Or how about Nike? Our ability to recall the
slogans of numerous brands and products demonstrates marketers’
effective use of verbal communication. Verbal mastery applies to any
successful professional’s career, from technical employees to
management. With Power Words, you too can successfully communicate with
others in the workplace.  Power Words demand that you skillfully wield
communicational nuances in how you convey your thoughts. You will learn
some strategies to communicate effectively with, and persuade, others.

About Our Speaker
Vu H. Pham, Ph.D., is the founder and head of Spectrum Knowledge, Inc., a research, consulting and training organization.  He currently serves as an instructor and trainer at the University of California, Los Angeles and is a board member of the Center for Research on Employment and the Workforce at California State University, Fullerton.  His experience includes having worked with companies as large as those from the Fortune 500 to those in governmental and non-profit sectors.
